Leave your mark on the Field.

Founding Explorers become part of Zenzicube’s permanent record. Your name and creature stay—and your voice helps decide where the expedition goes next.

A permanent place in Zenzicube

Your Explorer number, your name, and your chosen creature—in your colors—stay together in the colophon. The place is yours for as long as Zenzicube exists, and it is permanently free.

A real say in what comes next

Vote on a short list of possible creatures, experiments, and field notes. The choices are focused, but the result genuinely changes what gets built next.

A spark that can enter the Field

Suggest a new motion, color, or mathematical twist for an existing creature. The strongest ideas can become new forms for everyone to discover.

Ideas before they are finished

See selected field notes before publication and tell me whether they changed the way you see a shape, pattern, or place in the world.

Explorer 037 · pairing previewMaurer Rose · chosen variant and colors

Choose the creature—and colors—that travel beside your name.

After qualifying, choose one still-unpaired creature variant, then choose the colors that make it yours. Your creature, palette, Explorer number, and name become one permanent colophon entry. With more than a thousand variants in the field, the final roster becomes a portrait of what each person noticed and loved.

The pairing is symbolic, not ownership. Every creature remains discoverable by everyone, and a paired first choice never changes the place you earned.

The pairing ceremony and public colophon are in development; the example shown here is illustrative, not a claimed number.

How to earn your place

No application. No pitch. Create an account, wander, and let your Field Journal keep the record.

  1. Create an account

Your Field Journal keeps a record of the unique creatures you discover.

  2. Wander and discover

Explore at your own pace. There is no application, essay, invitation code, or race to join an email list.

  3. Qualify in the field

When the program opens, reaching the current discovery threshold will earn you the next unfilled Explorer number, while places remain.

The exact discovery threshold can grow with the menagerie. Joining the updates list never reserves a number.
